Provence Restaurant in Soho

3 Mar

Was looking around on the web for a nice Franch Restaurant and came upon the most GORGEOUS picture!  This is an exact copy of the article as it appears in www.laissezfairedesign.blogspot.com

This is a bathroom from Provence restaurant in soho (NYC), recently featured on bluelines blog and design*sponge. It is wallpapered in book pages! Perfect for a fantastic read when you are carrying out your business in the loo. As it turns out, the walls are diy-ed by cutting out the creamy pages of a book using a straight-edge razor and glueing them up using wallpaper paste. This took days. The walls were then polished with Polyvine glaze. I am so tempted to try this out myself! I also love the innocent-looking pink fabric door that reminds me of a bullet proof door I once saw in Russia.
